If you know me, you know that I LOVE the outdoors and nature. I am filled with joy when I am surrounded by Father's beautiful creation. Lately, I've been obsessed with trees. They are stunning plants, I love the symbolism of roots and fertile ground that go along with it too. I am hoping to be married on the Martin family land in Labelle, TX. It has so much meaning to me, as it belonged to my great grandma and grandpa for many years. In case you were wondering, this is the actual tree. Kendall took this picture the first summer we were dating (2008) while we were doing a photo shoot.
I'm just in love with it, it makes my heart smile. Of course I have to keep some element of surprise for the big day and there will be plenty of details and excitement when that day comes. I just wanted to share this with you today. I know it will be the end of May, but I would like an evening ceremony around 7 in the evening, but we haven't quite gotten all the details worked out. I'm hoping it will not be too hot on our wedding day. I will just be happy to be married to the man I love by the end of the day.
I also love, love, LOVE these rings. How cool are they? It is from a genius artist on etsy.com (love this website). He sends you a fingerprint kit, you stamp your pointer finger and send it back in. Once he works his magic, you get this. Rings with your partners fingerprint on them. How sobering is it to think that Kendall was created for me, before my parents even thought of me. I just think it is a cool reminder to show that my spouse was created specifically for me, down to the details. Our Father cared enough to carve delicate, different, designs on each one of us.
Well that is it for today, I'll be posting next wednesday about wedding inspirations. It is almost the weekend and I have a special date saturday with my fiance who is coming to visit me! Can't wait to post about N. Africa tomorrow.
