Last weekend Kendall and I decided to get away for a bit. We didn't get to go far, but we did get to go to Houston to visit His brother Matt and sister-in-love Leah. We spent the weekend grilling out, swimming, a little shopping, and just having some time to chill. It was nice to get away from the house. When we are at the house we feel like we have to DO something like clean, decorate, fix, etc. We had no plans, no schedule, no obligations-- just us and the dog. We just really needed a break. I feel like we have been going non-stop since we got married. We even moved into our house the
day morning we arrived back from Peru (we arrived in the states at 6 a.m.) and Kendall was dead set on getting moved into the house that day. While life has been busy, I enjoy being married to my best friend. At times it is hard and emotionally challenging, but I would not change a thing. I feel like I have grown so much as a person in just the few short months. Marriage really does file down the rough spots. I see my sin in a different light and fix it that much faster. What a blessing this great mystery has been.

The boys.
Aren't those little wrinkles adorable?
I also got to visit my friend Natalie at HBU. She is on there soccer team and is a fantastic player.
I suppose that is all for now. Look forward to wedding posts coming soon starting with my girls trip to Galveston.
I just joined your blog. Your input on marriage insightful. As a not-yet-married, I enjoy reading about married couples. You and your husband make a cute couple. :)
