Wedding Festivities Part I

Picture 41 The Wednesday before the wedding, I got to take a fun girls trip to Galveston with a few of my bridesmaids and some friends. We had so much fun just putting our toes in the sand, laughing, and visiting with each other. Might I add that they also stayed up into the wee hours of the morning helping me finish crafts while at the condo! If you were at the wedding you can give credit to these girls for all the hanging candles and beads. I am so thankful for each and every one of these girls. All of them have a special place in my heart (including Hannah L. and Brandi, though they couldn't come, they were bridesmaids). I do not know if I would be who I am without them. I know I wouldn't have all these memories and laughs if it weren't for them. These girls have walked through different parts of my life with me and they've each given me something. So blessed!

Soulsister. Friend. Bridesmaid. Her name is Hannah.

Me and most of the girls that got to come hang out in Galveston. :)
Brooke, Chelsea, Me, Hannah, Lauren, and Carol

This would be Brooke. Maid of Honor, Little Sister, and Taylor Swift Look-a-like.

This would be me trying to test out my CrossFit limits. You don't have to see a picture to know what
came next. We all went tumbling down. Keep in mind I am 5'2 they are both about 5+ inches taller than me!

Me and the beautiful Holly. :) Thank you for coming and everything you did to help, even though you didn't have to. You are wonderful and beautiful inside and out. Please don't let anyone make you think differently than that. love you holly!

This was the ferry ride home and pictures two girls that haven't been mention.
The first would be Carol. Carol and I met this year at UNT but are from the same area. She is
such a wonderful friend and loves the Lord passionately. I have been so blessed to know her and
though our time was short together ( in denton) she became ( and still is) very dear to my heart.
Also, Lauren is a dear friend and bridesmaid.
More on the bridesmaids in a later post.

I hope you enjoyed a little look into what I was doing a couple days to the wedding. i really needed a time to de-stress, think, relax, and just be with the girlfriends.

A little trip to the beach was just what I needed.

  1. What fun! This is the only thing I wish I had done. All my bridesmaids were too spread out though! I'm sure it was just the thing you needed!
