One evening I got on a baking kick. This happens ever so often where I just want to be in the kitchen. It reminds me of being in Peru where I spent at least 6 hours in the kitchen everyday. It became so normal to me but I don't have the time to be or absolutely have to be in the kitchen that much. Whenever I miss it, I just spent a couple hours whipping up some yummy recipes.
This past cooking kick produced three yummy (vegan) products:
Vegan Pumpkin Bread
Sage Pumpkin Muffins
Oatmeal Pumpkin Cookies
I am on pinterest, but the things I post here are the things I experimented with and made. You can click on any of the links above to get the recipes, but I didn't modify them in any way so I don't feel the need to repost them.
The cookies were soooo yummy. They were almost like granola bars, so I would bring them with me to snack on when leaving the house. I ate the pumpkin bread for breakfast with peanut butter and flax seed on top. The pumpkin sage muffins were good too. It wasn't a sweet bread, but more of dinner roll.
Next: Pumpkin Cheesecake! :)
