Books and Coffee

Mid-Terms.
Ugh.
I feel like spring semester is always the hardest. Probably because not only do I choose to take difficult classes, I end up taking over 15 hours and there is so much going on in the spring. Why? This semester I'm taking 18 hours and 3 upper level History classes. That's a lot of reading, y'all!!

Stud

Mid-Terms and finals week makes me do funny things...

Like.... running 6.5 miles to avoid studying. I haven't ran since the Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving. Glad to know that I still have some umph in me! At this point, I'm not letting myself go to sleep because I know once I stop moving I'll be done for. I'll be on bed rest tomorrow. Benaiah came too, he hasn't gotten off the couch since we got home. That stinker.

Rum

The week always leaves me completely scatterbrained when I need full composure to focus.
I'm not going to lie, I secretly get a rush out of drinking coffee late at night and skipping out on sleep. I still dread studying but the night owl in me loves it. Although, it is different with a husband now as I  long to be sleeping in bed cuddled up next to him rather than sitting in a stiff wooden chair with dry
eyes.

Study

I have a paper, two essay mid terms and a math test this week. Then, spring sleep break is here! Have you noticed from the above pictures that I seem to make my rounds in the coffee shop business for studying? Sertinos, Panera, and Starbucks.
I'm ready for a coffee shop hang out that doesn't involve studying or required books.

Side Note:
I am FOUR followers away from 100 followers. I feel this is a very big moment in my blogging career. It is pretty exciting and I have enjoyed getting to know so many lovely ladies through this blog. I hope as the blog continues to grow that I will continue to get to know more beautiful people.

I say, 100 followers calls for a giveaway. So, by the end of the week if I have reached 100 followers I'll be giving away a lovely gift to say "thank you". I never want this blog to be about numbers, but I do want to show my thanks to you for following along with our journey.

Hopefully you will be hearing from me sooner rather than later. If you don't, I'll either be snoozin or studyin. ;)

  4. I hear ya on the mid-term thing. I feel like a chicken running around with it's head cut off at the moment! But... the good news is that I won't have any homework over break unlike a few of my friends. Coffee is definitely needed this week... and I've already lost count as to how many cups I've had, and it's only Monday =) Best of luck with the studying and testing =)
