Life is a Beach!

Hey guys. I'm still alive! :)
Sorry for the leave of abscense (again), but I've just been enjoying life.
I haven't even been on my laptop since I left for Disney!
--I'm writing this on my mom's computer--

I just got back from a wonderful week long vacation at the beach.
Kendall's mom rented out a beach cabin along with her sister's family for us all to enjoy.
All of Kendall's brothers got to go along with their wives and our nieces.
All of Kendall's cousins and their kids were there.

We enjoyed the sand and waters of the gulf in Fort Morgan, Alabama.
I could really live on the beach. I just love it.

Nights like these...

Shorts and sun hats.

Reading books and journaling.
--note the tree necklace, that was an anniversary gift. :) Loveee it!

However, it doesn't matter where I am. As long as this man is by my side, I'll be happy anywhere.

That's a little update for now.
I still plan to write about our trip to Disney and our anniversary.

We're happy and doing well in these parts.
I'm so glad summer is here and for the first time since I can remember
I have an open schedule. Nothing.
NOTHING! eeek!
Even though I really wish I was going on a mission trip or being a team leader at super summer,
I'm really at peace about not doing those things this summer.
Which is odd.

I can't wait to see where the summer brings us.

This summer I'm dedicating myself to becoming a better wife and daughter of God.
I am praying that the Lord does whatever He needs to make me fully rely on Him.

What are your plans for summer?

  1. So good to hear from you! I literally just looked up your blog yesterday, checking to see how long it had been since you'd posted :) Living life never takes a back seat to blogging, though, so I'm happy to hear you've been having such a great few weeks!

  2. I love the beach. Can you believe my husband has never been to one? Well, he has once, but for literally thirty minutes. My parents wanted to stay in the beach house all day.

My plans for the summer is to be with friends and family so I can feel loved while Allen is overseas. Speaking of friends, I want to see you!

  3. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't jealous of you getting to soak up some sun and relaxation at the beach... but I am ;) Enjoy the rest of your summer!

  4. Ah, that beach looks amazing! I'm glad you guys are having a good time! I can't wait to see more photos from your trips! :)

Your comments make my day. :) Thanks for stopping by and I will try my best to respond to each comment made.
Also, don't forget to leave your blog address if you have one, I would love to check it out and stop by to say hello in your space.
