Sunday I made a trip to the grocery store with a few smoothie recipes in hand. I picked out three recipes that I could split into two servings. I went home with ingredients in hand, chopped up fruit and prepped each smoothie. I split them into plastic bags and put them in the freezer. BAM! I had six smoothie bags ready to go.

I haven't made all of them yet, but is the recipe for the smoothie pictured above.
Strawberry, Grapefruit Smoothie
1 cup strawberries
1 pink lady apple, chopped
1 small grapefruit, peeled
1 inch ginger, peeled
1 Tbs. Flax seed
Blend until smooth or split into two quart bags and freeze until ready to use.

The Hubby made dinner last night! I got a little break, while he worked up a sweat in the kitchen. He's a great cook, probably better than me but he doesn't get home early enough to cook. He made stuffed bell peppers and kind of just made it up. I didn't really copy stuff down, but it was REALLY good.
:)
I'm only five days in and I feel SO much better (and down 3lbs, but that doesn't really matter). Hoping I can keep this up!
have you made any healthy recipes you made this week? Please share. :)
Just made a cucumber/lime smoothie. With a lunch of turkey, blueberries and avocado. Planning is definitely key. I can't do the whole healthy eating unless I plan what I will eat to avoid getting what is easy! Let me know if you want the smoothie recipe!
