Wow. I can't believe we have already been back in the states a full month! It has been a very crazy month (okay, a crazy year for that matter) but has been so full. A prayer I think I say the most is "Thank You." And I pray that I always have a thankful heart. I am so overwhelmed with thankfulness that I can't help but share. I feel a thankful heart, even in bad times, makes a happy heart.
My dear friend & jungle twin shares every Thursday what she is thankful for on her blog and I have decided to join her. So this post today, is dedicated to her and all of the other amazon friends my heart became so attached to this year.
I have learned how to love quickly, share openly about my life, and to work together for the kingdom. I have learned how painful goodbyes can be but that it is a GOOD thing when saying goodbye hurts because that means I lived and made relationships. A piece of my heart has been left in a place that has taught me more than I ever thought possible.
I am thankful for these lessons and how they have affected my life. I am thankful for these people and the work they do in a place I love so much. I am thankful for the opportunity to know them no matter how short the time because some time is better than no time at all.
